X-Plane 12 · one-time setup

Turn on Data Output

  1. Open Settings (top-right gear) → Data Output tab, General Data Output.
  2. Under Network Configuration (right side), check Send network data output.
  3. IP Address: 127.0.0.1. Leave the Port at X-Plane's default — the DataLink finds it automatically (it checks 49000–49004).
  4. Set UDP Rate to 10/sec or higher.
  5. In the grid, check the Network via UDP box for each row below. That's it — one time only.

These seven are exactly what the CAF DataLink reads. Checking extra rows is harmless.
